Idleness is the holiday of fools.
You are going to have a comfortable old age.
All your hard work will soon pay off.
Our first and last love … Self love.
Nature, time, and patience are the three great physicians.
Versatility is one of your outstanding traits.
The time is right to make new friends
He who hurries cannot walk with dignity.
You are independent politically.
A financial investment will yield returns beyond your hopes.
What’s vice today may be virtue tomorrow.
You will inherit some money or a small piece of land.

It’s pouring rain today. On rainy days, we usually visit a nearby Chinese restaurant for lunch. We like the food and the owners and employees are friendly. The experience perks up an otherwise dreary day.

At the end of the meal, the bill comes with a fortune cookie. The Commander saves the fortunes. Since he’s been doing this for some time, he now has a little pile of them. Recently, we had some family for dinner, and when we sat down for coffee afterward, he raided his supply of fortunes and passed them around. Everyone enjoyed a bit of fun from discovering his or her own fortune as well as sharing it.

When we finished with them, The Commander collected the fortunes. I’m sure he plans on a repeating the treat for our next guests. If he does this often enough, it may become a tradition at our house. Meanwhile, I’ll keep saving them so we’ll enjoy more variety.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. Duplicate fortunes are rare. So far, I’ve only encountered two.

there was never a deed so foul that something
could not be said for the man; that's why
there are lawyers.
