Sylvester, I am not sure I would agree that the "shorts" are in panic mode now. They proved that the Market is still skittish and can be easily panicked.

Look at the effect that the rumor (again) of U.S. troops in Iraq raised by some (shorts) had on the DOW --- up 40, then down over 100 in a few minutes.
