It's right that I try to conduct as much DD as I could find. But in a time when the market reactions were so fast it certainly happened that this time-compression made me committ sooner than before. FYI, I usually invest on a "topical network" approach. Like "investing in themes". Compound semis were an important themes in 99-2000. And GTSM seemed to offer just that on a compound very important to the military - Cadmium-Telluride and related material (CdTe, ZnCdTe etc.). I often hinted at their lack of revenues, a typical "research company". For example in superconductors, even top notch players like CDTS (which I still have), ISCO.OB or SCON are still lacking revurring revenue. But in a boilerplate environment like winter 99 this didn't preclude them to soar. Actually we all could have profited handsomely if we sold GTSM at the proper moment. (it peaked above $2 if I remember it correctly). I still cannot determine whether their compound semi process is any good or not. I however realized that if it were any good, payoffs would be handsomely and so I bought a position. It's right I talked to Mr. Tunnell once on the phone. And yes, we all have stop losses, I hope and we all may change our mind if we learn something new or something we might like more. If I rmemeber my post on SCCI from 2000 I made the point that at $9 it should be eligible to the AMEX pending some additional criteria - provided that they forward audited finances IN TIME. They couldn't do that within the timeframe required and were subsequently delisted. Fact is that if they met that deadline they would in fact have been eligible for the AMEX back then. This story ending however is not foreclosed in the future. Fact is that SCCI made the move to the OTC again. And if they make it to $3, nothing would prevent them from applying for an AMEX listing.. rgrds CROSSY
