And the placement of troupes in certain heavily democratic precincts in California. :))

IF the hearings, assuming no bombshells, are over with an hour of trading to go, that should be enought time for people to forget.

Meaning it is the hearings not any reports, although, eventually the consumer will stop buying if this stuff continues, but it is a LAGGING indicator.
