I am not sure I understand. As far as HP is concerned I would assume that ISS advised that HP stock will pop up when the merger fails, if it fails.

That would be the time to begin to maybe unload HP. When Walter fires Carly, and becomes CEO, THAT will be a clear signal that all may not be well for the "HP vision".

I believe the merger will be advantageous for CPQ, always have, I think the price is too low, but in a stock for stock exchange, it doesn't matter that much, corporate intrinsic valuewise.

But if the Merger fails, CPQ is still a good buy with serious upside. Cpq will eat HP market share for breakfast, carly won't be there and walter will be back at the Grove, and the Midrange market is changing like a bat out of hell.

On the other hand, HP will split off the printer division, the pc division, the midrange division, but will maintain the name and the cabin at the Grove.

We are mildly amused.
