El-- this is not Reg FD stuff, this is information from a shareholder's representative, so it can be a big secret from the great unwashed,* and no, I don't think it will be Yes/No. I think it will represent the realities of the situation with all manner of gray shades.

It may very well be that the best course of action, for a fund who owns both is to wait until after the public announcement then GRADUALLY begin to unload HP and keep CPQ. Nothing earth shaking.

Remember that ISS was very careful to say that they are basing their opinion on PUBLICLY available information.

*There is one exception to this rule, that there is a fiduciary duty of a majority shareholder to the minority, the "Remmillard Brick Rule", but the funds don't own enough stock.
