Good point, George. In addition to the COMP and NDX, I still think the Dow has one more thrust up.

We've got 2-more days for that end of month pumping. After that we have beginning of month inflows, which may actually be something this month due to the pump job this week.

Volume is very low today. This rally is following the pattern of the other two we had during this downchannel. The one difference was that the last one happened during expiration week and was able to extend. I'm kind of doubting this one will have those kind of legs, but anything's possible.

George, excellent comment; please remind me which funds/indices you use to assess the junk bond market strength (is it Fidelity junk bond fund, is there an index?)

yes, thanks George. I beleive you are correct to correlate bottom behavior with a turn in junk. Please keep us up to date with regards this indicator, as I do not follow it faithfully.
