John, thanks, I could not have explained it better. There is another element to my "madness that does not come out that clear, and it is that money is divided into more or less 4 equal portions, core holdings, swing trades, day trades and special situations. In all cases stop losses is a corner stone of capital preservation strategy (except some few "special situations" where Max pain, achieves the same thing at a higher risk level, hopefully, for a higher potential reward).
