Sir, you are obviously not paying attention. Brenner, in her article, which she discussed on C-SPAN's Washington Journal this morning:

discusses the fact that Ken Lay was first warned about accounting irregularities in 1987, and did nothing ethical to change the situation. Only to build the Ponzi scheme as high as he could get away with.
