Sure. What I mean by serial correlation is a tendency of for the elements of a series to be correlated with one another in some fashion so that the Nth element may be regarded as being "determined" in some fashion by the elements that preceeded it. For example, the following time series would be said to exhibit a very high degree of serial correlation: 1,2,3,4,5,6. In other words, there's a pattern.
