In the special situations category I have two type of stocks and of course some special situations. The first, are rapid fire DCB candidates (like I played VLNC and IMCL today). In the past, I even played with CH 11 candidates (like ENE), when volatility allows you to scalp 10% or more, but rarely going to bed with any of those. The second class are "sleepers" that have multi baggers potential if the market turns in their favor, right now I have only HAUP, SEMI and CPHD in that class (all a little under water), but in the past, I did quite well with the like of CDTS, SCON, RDRT, ADCT and even CATS. I am monitoring these five for "right entry" as well. MU is another type of special situation where I "know" that management will do whatever is in their power (and they have done that in the past) to bring the stock well above $80 for special financing purpose. I am not in MU right now, waiting for a retest of the $29.5/$30.5 area, particularly in view of my less than sanguine opinion of the market at the current junction. To jump back for more than a trade on MU, I must have my pair of bull horns well in place, I am not there yet (vbg).
