Value is and always will be in the eyes of the beholder---namely, the person paying for it. As long as people continue paying, expect prices to do whatever they're doing now.

As Bob Brinker told a caller on his radio show last weekend who asked why prices in the SF Bay area are so high....Bob gave the obvious, irrefutable answer: people like to live there and are willing and able to pay for the privilege.
