To give a quick snapshot, much simplified, of the strategy, it is something like this - Finland does the fighting from inside - Norway does the fighting from the total outside (oil and fish) - Denmark does it from the background of a Nato nation - Sweden holds the center ground, in EU but not EMU The common theme is "openess", many finns have already got into troubles in Brussels. Adding the future Scotland to the equation makes it more interesting, as well as adding some southern european nations, and soon some eastern. (notice the little 70% media backlash in Italy, won\t last long) Ok, Iceland has at least one great DSP guy and who knows, they might pick another fishing war some day?? (considering their formerly and still strategic position, for the conservatives)
