Lucent and Nortel are using Qualcomm's CSM 5200 chipsets for their WCDMA build-outs in Europe and Japan. I think it is counterproductive to keep going around saying that Qualcomm's chips for infrastructure and handsets will not find a home in Europe. Vodaphone demonstrated their first international WCDMA phone call with a MSM 5200 handset from Qualcomm between Spain and Japan's J Phone, in which vodaphone owns a big piece. Those are at least 2 companies using CSM/MSM 5200 chip solutions.
