I am boycotting the thread until there is closure on the CH stalking issue. I'd love to continue our discussion when/if that happens.

There are three levels to Faith: 1. Belief in a God (or Gods), or not. 2. Belief in a major (or minor) religion (Christianity, Islam, etc.) 3. Belief in a denomination or subsector of a major religion (Protestant, Catholic, etc.) I think Jewel's eloquent post was referring to faith in terms of the first category only. This is a profound dividing line as to how each of us interprets the very nature of our existence. No matter how the conceptions of a God, or Gods, may differ, believers are united in their faith that our creation is explained by the existence of a Supernatural Being. (BTW, while I am not joining a boycott, I too feel that the subject of CH should be put to rest). JC
