Vasectomy recipients are nearly 90% white, married and 50% have private insurance. Doesn't sound like the procedure reaches the target group of problem pregnancies.

I believe in birth control. I always used birth control unless I wanted to get pregnant. I stopped using birth control when I developed cervical cancer at the age of 23. My husband and I immediately started our family.

We were fortunate enough to have two wonderful boys before a hysterectomy at 27.
