Boy, I sure am glad it's you doing this and not me. I mean.. wooo-hooo... If I saw flames shooting out of cracks and portholes...weeeelllll... let's just say that now I know why so many of my potter-friends built their gas kilns out in their backyards... (o:

Just turned the kiln off .
gave it a pretty heavy reduction for about an hour I guess. Than shut the flue, tons of smoke filling the air. turned on cieling fan, cleared out air.
Gonna go talk to the kiln for a little bit than crash.
