How do you know I don't "care" about the beliefs of others? Are you a mind reader? I care a great deal, since the beliefs of other people affect my life. So, there is one error, and apparently what you think is "obvious" isn't as "obvious" as you think it is. Self centered world? I agree. A world where people create many Gods to "save" them, or to be very concerned about them, is indeed a self centered world.

What is my "stance"? That humans believe in many Gods, and that it is impossible to know at this time whether there is any truth to any or all of them. That some people need to believe in order to feel secure in the universe, and that some people don't. That belief and disbelief do not matter much as long as your primary goal is to do as little harm as possible and as much good. That it is difficult to agree on what is "good" and what is "harm."
