Everyone knows that is what was meant, it's just the typical Bush bashing that TP and his far left friends like to engage in. They don't have anything substantial, so they leap at trivial crap to criticize.

Of course, he meant "half a century". Not "Century and a half".
Of course "half a century" is what was written. The trouble is Bush didn't mean anything, he just read the speech. This is our military commander in chief, the guy who couldn't remember who his father fought. The connections aren't there between what his handlers tell him and what he knows and does. It's more scary than a shoe-bomber.
