mr.mark, I presume that they (the restaurant people) were confronted by the news media for confirmation of details of the story already known to reporters, not that they just volunteered the otherwise unknown information in quest of the Guiness record, but I really don't know the honest answer, nor does the story give any indication one way or the other. I guess it's just a matter of how two differing minds read the same story, yet arrive at different, but perfectly possible, conclusions. Your question never even occurred to me while I was reading the story. But it is indeed an interesting question... KJC
