So, it's a baby if it is wanted but a mass of flesh if it is not?
It's a potential baby if it's wanted. I would not hold the mother guilty of murder if there was a miscarriage (which means that the fetus died for those who like to talk about premature death). Prior to birth the mass of flesh is pretty much a parasite so it's survival depends on the graciousness of the host.
