A thing like Mandalay with few shares out and low market cap [800k loonies] and nothing really active going on and recent financings right at this shareprice level seems a reasonable bet to me ... you wouldn't want to hold your breath waiting, but if the people are competent and don't have other overwhelming interests elsewhere, the thing will eventually have a run

This sort of thinking led me into Boulder last year, ybr.v, had no idea they would get into the Otish, i just liked its people and its extreme cheapness at the time ... didn't have any illusions about a next-week run, no point in that, if that happens it's just horseshoes ... patience with a well-considered package of bits of stocks like these can really pay off, long as you hold yourself to buying them at or below where insiders do, and as long as you carefully stink-bid ones with good people, propitious share structure, no big warts on their histories, etc .... same theory has led me into Candente dnt.v and Sherwood swm.v ... any of the four could run at any time imho

Pasted in from stockhouse - 'email from gng.v' apparently, posted yesterday afternoon -

' Letter back from company today. Thanks for your interest in Golden
Goliath Resources. We just finished hole
#8 on San Timoteo and are waiting for the results for holes 7 and 8.
When
we have them, we will release all 8 San Timoteo holes.
The drill started turning yesterday evening on the Reforma property
(the
northeast corner drill target area). There are two holes planned for this
part of the property and then several more on the main anomaly in the
central, western and southern parts of Reforma. You can see these
areas in
the brochure that is on the website.
I just returned from the project on Sunday. I was there with 3 Newmont
geologists, including the Director of Exploration. The like our project,
especially because we have an entire district and not just one
property.
Their favorites at the moment are Reforma and Corona.
If you have any other questions please send them.
Regards,
Paul Sorbara
President '

stockhouse.ca.

Reading between the lines there - Newmont is not in love with San Timoteo ... ?? ... should be assays coming soon, judging from shareprice activity they will be unspectacular ... but then, ya never know

[edit] - ybr.v - i see Steve Brunelle just took down 100k flow-through at .20 ... of the Corner Bay trinity involved with Boulder i know best Flanagan, but clearly Brunelle and Mordaunt have done good company-building with bay.to

Lots of google hits with 'mandalay billiton' - google.com
... maybe they had something to do with Billiton before its merger with BHP? ... looks also like there is an aussie outfit named Mandalay
