Milo, Re: "Guess it's good news Sledghammer is out already." Making a Sledgehammer will not be a problem for AMD. All they need to do is add some extra cache, and the other 64-bits to the DDR interface. As for the platform - getting 4-way and 8-way Sledgehammer configurations to operate coherently with the kind of setup that AMD has in mind - now that will be a problem. Re: "Your AMD stock will do well over the next 18 months IMO." I am hoping for some moderate gains. More would of course be better. I am still more bullish for Intel, but not so much due to their CPU business as I am for their newly invigorated "other" businesses - something that people continue to treat quite skeptically, despite Intel's growing power and ever convincing new product launches. wbmw
