I hope the day in day out carping about the Enron mess doesn’t slam the economy. Some guy wants a Federal Bureau of Audits for cryin’ out loud. Imagine all the accountants working for the Feds. Semiconductor orders might be signaling an upturn here. Orders for computers and communications equipment still stink. (Year over year)

I guess success breeds contempt. Semiconeng was saying that "Intel's Development and Process Engineers were doing 70-80 hour workweeks for MONTHS and MONTHS and MONTHS to get this thing working and transplanted employees were working some 80 hrs per week getting the .13 out." I hope Greg Jones is right and this bill does not pass. Herb
