AZO reported last night: 17:31 ET AutoZone tops estimates (AZO) 69.50 -0.40: -- Update -- Company reports Q2 earnings of $0.58 per share, $0.08 better than the consensus estimate; Q2 revenues came in at $1.08 bln versus the consensus estimate of $1.05 bln; announces it has filed a registration statement with the SEC relating to the possible sale of up to 15 million shares by certain affiliates of both ESL Investments and Mr. Edward S. Lampert, a member of AutoZone's Board of Directors and Chairman of ESL Investments.
