IMHO, due to our technology and creativity the problem these days with both war-type acts and financial instruments is that things can much more quickly get out of hand than the hubris of the people in charge lets them believe. Until then I will join my country in saying GFY to everyone, including you -bg-

MM, the US can remain a strong military super power but still experience a decline in its relative power thus making it more costly to project force/influence. As the rest of the world becomes better armed our ability to push others around will decline. mike
