George HW Bush was shot down in the Pacific theater. I am sure that his son knows that we fought the Japanese in World War II. Nothing can be inferred from such miaspeaking. As for the "rewrite", they rarely use transcriptions, since the speeches are already written down. They just used the actual text.....
