The information needed to understand this is hidden in plain view. Its not up to the government to insure that even the most naive investor doesn't lose money in the securities market, to even try creates a nightmare of BS regulations that only wind up reducing the return for everyone. There are people that own stocks who couldn't give you an adequate definition of the difference between a stock and a bond, yet they buy stocks. Is it the job of the government to protect these people from themselves? You want everyone who buys and sells stocks to need to take a series 7 before they are allowed to lose their money? That's where these witch trials are headed. Anyone who makes money off the unsuspecting public is automatically guilty....I think that includes you doesn't it?
