You seem to have conveniently forgotten that I have long been one of the strongest advocates of model numbers instead of mhz for AMD's superior IPC chips.

90%+ of buyers can barely compare one or two numbers, such as 1800+ vs. 1800MHZ or 32 bit vs. 64 bit.
