This is, most likely, something that cannot be resolved in a few hours of research. Who knows how Saifun got the information that AMD/Fujitsu started to file patent applications based upon Saifun's technology.

It will get resolved one way, or another. Remember, while AMD is not the "largest" of semiconductor companies, my guess is that the combination of AMD/Fujitsu has fairly deep pockets. Therefore, they can litigate it.

Also, remember, the burden of "proof" is on Saifun. They have to prove that AMD/Fujitsu "stole" their technology. Perhaps there was a "loophole" in the NDA. Who knows.
