Looks like intel has been sitting on processor speeds above 2.2 ghz for awhile now. Clearly the competition isn't pushing them to run up the speed curve.

Moreover, If the Prescott die shrinks from 146 sq. mm. Northwood - like the Northwood shrank from the Willamette at 217 sq. mm. - Prescott could end up being 98 sq. mm., SMALLER than the HUMMER at 104 sq. mm. - and possibly have a 1 Meg L2 cache as well !

MAD will have to print new QuantEnronSpeed labels, ditching those 3400+ numbers and printing up some 4000+ ones !
