Jack: it's a little difficult to wade through sometimes but, followed over the longer term, the influx of new posts on the extreme upside or downside does seem to have some use as a rough indicator of the stock's cyclical top and bottom. Sort of a micro-market. One could almost just use raw number of posts in a similar manner, FWIO.

The name of the thread is "Coming in to Buy Range", isn't it? So by definition I would expect to see a few people hanging around waiting for Qualcomm to come in to buy range.
