MM, I knew who the dead wood was at my company and never missed one of them when they were laid off. They received a very generous severance, which made me wonder if under performance was being rewarded. Sometimes people are so un-productive that they drag down the productive employees. So when they leave productivity goes up. Your peers know who the losers are. If done right, CSCO could benefit if management is smart enough to let go the truly deserving. Employee morale might just go up. Andy D
