Joe, Many of us are posters on the Three Amigos Thread and for the last 6 months or so we had basically been chasing day stocks and were not looking very deep at the fundamentals. We decided it would be nice to have a rating system along with some DD on each stock we would put into a portfolio so we created this thread. The rating system is a way to see why a stock is put in the portfolio to start with. As can be seen by the top of this thread. WHAT'S MOVING OR GOING TO MOVE YOUR STOCK? To add your stock to this portfolio thread, provide the technical and fundamental catalysts with some attention to the respective stock's sector strengh. Please rate the stock: Chart signal - 2 points. Timeliness, based on sector ta - 2 points Timeliness, based on fundamental strength of sector: 2 points Earnings growth: 2 points Unexpected news development: 1 point Unrealized value: 1 point Now I have been thinking we need some way to see if the rating system has merit i.e. do higher rated stocks go up and is our rating system any good? So I am now capturing the reports on the other thread along with the ratings. Those reports I could easily recognize I copied over but I have yet to find them all.
