"The world of the future could be full of disagreement, but it is shared values in the end that will root out terror, not smart bombs." 2 Problems here: 1)That does little to reduce the current threat. How many Americans have to die while we're out promoting democracy? 2)How do we "share values" with Islamic Fundamentalists? We could pass some laws that allow us to beat our women. We could tell our children that it is not sinful to kill Muslims in fact we could say that it is their duty as good christians to kill as many as possible. That would help to bring our values more in line with theirs. It is painfully obvious to Israel that there is no chance to influence the Islamic values. That's been tried and has failed. DOC
