did not find the original quote but this is just as valid

"Intel on Monday introduced a new Xeon server chip with a feature called hyper-threading that improves performance of some applications by 30 percent. The Santa Clara, California-based company is going to roll that into other lines now.
The Prescott PC chip will have hyper-threading, which duplicates some resources in a chip so that the operating system software thinks there are two processors inside, Intel said in a statement.
The chipmaker will also have early products using a new, faster standard to communicate with other computer parts in the second half of 2003.
"

BTW, looks like prescott is late too
