Yes, Ann, it is hogwash. Planned Parenthood provides,

...on a sliding cost-to-income, 'ability to pay' basis, birth control pills, IUDs, etc. Examinations, PAP smears, etc.

It's a wonderful organization that I think would be much better supported through donations if it weren't for the RWEs in the White House (and not just the current -- Reagan and Bush #1) that systemically want to destroy ... well, ALL rights of the citizens ... -g/ng-

I have some personal experience that plays in here. My Mother-in-Law worked for/with a lawyer. He actively sought referrals from Planned Parenthood and other centers to have medical costs covered in turn for putting a baby up for adoption (via his own private placement). They placed several babies a year. He made generous contributions to ensure they would consider referrals.

Secondarily, Planned Parenthood is where my wife used to get birth control back when we were starting out and didn't have much funds. I went there with her once and they loaded me up with condoms even though I told them I didn't need them.

Do you suggest that PP provides unbiased information regarding abortion vs. the alternatives (i.e. adoption and motherhood). Do you deny that PP has an active campaign against CPC?

PP was founded by a well-documented racist (Magaret Sanger) whose population control agenda included quarantine and mass sterilization of "human weeds", which included blacks, Jews, and catholics. Prior to WWII, M. Sanger had close ties to the Nazis, and a Nazi eugenicist was on the first board of PP (not called PP at the time). The eugnenics-driven agenda is alive and well today, and the racist undertones are still evident. Also it should be noted that PP is on record supporting China's forced abortion policy, and they lobbied against granting political asylum to 6 Chinese women who were facing sterilization if they returned home. So much a women's right to chose.

Ann, just because the truth does not match your personal political viewpoint does not make it any less true.
