I did see some European (and even some US) media outlets and commentators saying Canadians were the original whiners - we just happenned to have the US on our side. Much was made up here of an NBC poll at their Olympics site which asked what country was thought of of whining the most.. Of the 3 choices (Koreans, Russians, Canadians) us Canadians came out in front - by a whopping margin. Then again.. maybe it was just disgruntled Koreans and Russians stacking the vote ;)
