The consumer stocks don't indicate a double dipper is coming. Take a look at just about anything non tech consumer based and it's fine, be it travel, leisure, retail (for every Gap there is a Chicos), autos, food, restaurants.

Most of those also depend on some corporate rebound as well.

I don't know what's wrong with tech stocks. Maybe it's just valuation, negative fund flows or accounting worries. But I do think that the economy depends on the telco sector, so I'm hoping that they at least bottom out fundamentally or maybe we do get that double dipper.

Otoh.... I think that lots of jobs in that sector are never coming back or at least not in the next few years.... like aerospace in the 70's in So. Cal. Some people probably will have to move to another field.... where I don't know.
