So the liberal Democrats who have flooded this country will millions of illegal immigrants who are illiterate in their own country and who are bankrupting the hospitals of California and who are one out of every four prisoners in the state have just the best future of this country in mind or is it their own political future ? So the 9/11 disaster which cost us billions because of their foolishness doesn't matter ?
The Democrats seem disturbed that the Enron chiefs were able to sell their shares while the peons were not. Is this like you and me being forced into social security while the politicians fund their own enjoying a freedom we don't have ? Or is it because they are superior beings who deserve better. Isn't this the liberal way creating a multi-tiered society in which they decide who gets what. Nor our own efforts and accomplishments.

I don't see it that way. We're in a costly war. We need to nuckle down on spending but the real revenue for the government comes from taxes paid on created wealth. That means economic growth. I agree that any stimulus package should not include a handout to corporate america to do what they want with it. It should be tied to job creation only. The situation regarding executive pay in this country is appalling. Nobody is worth a half a Billion a year. Shareholders need a way to revolt and I agree it would be a crime for any tax cut to go to pay raises for CEO's. It should also not be a handout to poor americans so they can squander it on lottery tickets and cigarettes.
