You're correct. I should have said capacity growth.

The capacity growth has been increasing. The growth has not been in the larger plants although larger plants are coming on line. The CONTROL of the capacity was sold to out of staters effectively reducing the capacity CONTROLLED by Californians.

No state has a perfect energy system. Certainly all aspects of the California energy systems have flaws. However they all take a back seat to the market manipulation. It turns out the mocked California public was correct believing the crisis was created through market manipulation.

IMO the free electric market enthusiast should be the most vocal wrt to the market manipulations. The manipulators have effectively set back the move towards market juice. Instead the market enthusiasts seam to be trying to rewrite history.
