it'll take a monumental effort to bust through NYA.X ~583 ...of course the smart play is (what you said) to sell when the index hits the apparent DownTrend Line ~ we're traders, not gamblers (^_^) About this, we are in complete agreement. my only point, I guess, is that you don't have to hit the absolute sto bottoms and/or tops of these UpWaves to have a good surf {grin} hell, sometimes I find myself just jumping in and sliding a trailing STOP; can't do this with options ~ the spread & "slippage" and all that ~ but kinda fun to do with TraderBerney BIG BLOCKS ;-) are we having FUN yet ? -Steve
