Re: AMD's 1300 MHz Mobile Athlon has been out for almost two months - and no OEMs are using it.

That's for the 25 watt chip.

And it's a taste of what's to come for Intel as their 25 watt mobile P4 tries to compete with AMD's 15 watt SOI mobile Athlon.

Notebook buyers see a huge difference between a 6.5 pound notebook and a sub 5 pound notebook. That difference has been working for Intel and against AMD - now the situation is being reversed.

$1 Billion per quarter in very high ASP revenue is at stake - and much or all of that is going to be transferred from Intel to AMD.
