High end languages: Keep an eye on tcl (pronounced tickle) ,, PERL/CGI integrating stuff on custom chips for phones and stuff. They don't have to be better. They just have to be different than microsoft. they are better though. In what they do. PERL CGI and Unix fit like a glove. they are better. Oracle fits like a glove there too. IP based is where it's at. That's where i think they have an advantage. All the freeware stuff will eventually mesh in to something really great. It just takes time. (like a bunch of garage bands..) Michael Robinson obviously has balls but he needs a great product....Andreeson started loudcloud ...for what reason i don't know...probably to sell stock...andreesen had a little C executable at the right time...amazing...if he had the right team and the right stock manipulators he probably could have owned microsoft.
