ROFL, any lawyer who takes that case should be made to share the burden of the inevitable guilty sentence.

Really, there is surely a case for a law to the effect that any injury or harm you incur in the commission of a crime, or in an attempt to evade the consequences thereof, is not actionable or liable for any compensation - you have only yourself to blame. An exception made, possibly, if (in court judgement) deliberate and active steps are taken to harm you beyond those necessary to capture/prevent/incapacitate you.
So if you're last to be rescued from the building you set on fire... tough. LOL.

As for this wiseguy, it's a shame all the appendages he lost were toes.

I am always amazed at how easy you find sarcasm.

I suspect we'll revisit that case when the Darwin Awards next come out.

Dang, I feel sorry for that guy. Breaks my heart. Those bumbling Keystone Cops.

Yeah, I'll contribute. How much does a years' incarceration cost?
