Will they lower all their model numbers?" I imagine they will make a case out of the performance in single-threaded and multi-threaded apps. They will claim that the majority of applications run single threaded, and that they still offer the best single-threaded performance. The model numbers would reflect this single-threaded performance. However, I think they will be harder pressed to justify it, and in the long run, model numbers have never worked in the past, so I don't think they will work now. wbmw
