I'm with you. I think gold has had a great run and kudos to bambs for ferriting out that opportunity and capitalizing it. But it's just like bonds. If you marveled at your friends who made a killing in bonds over the last couple of years, which may make you decide to shift your assets, well, you may just go from losing a bunch of money in equities to buying bonds at a high, so you can lose money in bonds over the next 2-3 years. Not a good strategy. :) Same thing goes for gold. The time to buy that was 2 years ago, not now. The risk is too high that it will come back down to earth shortly.

I don't create fear..I just lay out the facts.

get a life.

i warned people on this thread that csco was a piece of crap. my calls have been dead on.

instead of insulting one of the few people that tells the truth on this thread and makes accurate calls....why don't you look at the people that have been pumping csco for the last couple years...telling people to believe and buy...

i'm not short csco and haven't been for almost a year now. I am short intc and disclosed it when I made my calls on that thread.

I am also still long boat loads of gold stocks...have done nothing but add to my positions since opening longs starting in dec of 1999. I have added on every major pull back and completely loaded the boat after the pull back following sept. 11.

If you want to stay long garbage...that is your business...clearly you have no understanding of the stock market and its history. only purely foolish people believe in this bubble economy. perhaps you should read some books.
