Interesting comment on RFMD and what business they're in. Also, re: the telecom bill -- it is unlikely to accelerate DSL and cable modem deployment, according to pretty much everyone except maybe a few baby bells. Most of the companies the bill would cover already offer DSL in quantities over the "required minimum" in the bill. Installation after that is rolled out over a many year period. . . and doesn't even guarantee more infrastructure then.

Also, at this point, the bill has only passed the House, not the Senate. Still, I'm sure it is influencing the market.

Harry, thanks for the info on RFMD, but it WAS specifically mentioned as a beneficiary of the telecom bill.
