That is indeed the thinking of the clueless, the technology retarded, the business retarded. All regulation do is create costs that are passed onto the consumer. Defense contractors usually work on a cost plus basis so make it more expensive and Uncle Sam pays more and thus all pay more. Oil companies also will just pass on the costs of doing business. They have to all they will go out of business. I've yet to hear a lefty loons reasons why Enron was so in favor of kyoto treaty. Enron was the big energy company, Texas, Texas that's Oil country.
