Okay, you are right. The economy was not run into the ground. Perhaps a bit of hyperbole on my part. But I think in many ways it was mismanaged. I could never buy that theory, "trickle down" or whatever it was called. You know, give a huge tax break to the rich or to big business and the extra dough they have will flow down into the wider economy. I mean Reagan's government really touted that economic theory or plan and now I think it is coming back with Bush Jr.
